Day 01: Arrive Paro by Flight
Arrive by flight to Paro: clear custom & Immigration checks, thereafter BSETT representatives will greet you with welcome white scarfs outside the exit area. Drive to hotel & check In …. you will be served with refreshments / lunch
In the evening visit the auspicious Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan dating back to 7 th century…..thereafter visit Drugyal Dzong & town areas to buy souvenirs or meet with local people to exchange views & get acquainted to Bhutanese customs & culture…

Day 02:
Morning at 9am excursion to the Tiger’s Nest” Taksang ” monastery. It is 900 mts above the valley floor. In the 8 th century Guru Rinpoche flew on the back of a Tiger from Eastern Bhutan to this place & meditated in a cave for 3 months, this is why it’s called Tiger’s Nest. A pilgrimage to Taktsang is a dream of a lifetime for the devout. In the evening visit National Museums, Rinpung Dzong

Day 03:
On the way to Punakha visit Iron bridge (in Paro) & visit Simtokha Dzong
Experience Dochola la (pass) & 108 stupas built in memory of Victorious Bhutan in 2003.
Lunch halt at Menchuna Restaurant & buy souvenirs from the authentic Thangka painter & best embroider Master Daw’s Handicraft…after lunch visit Chemi Lhakhang,the auspicious fertility monastery built in 1499.
Night halt at Lobesa Hotel ..quiet dinner & rest

Day 04:
Visit Punakha Dzong impressive ancient fortress winter residence of the Head Abbot. HH Gekhenpo. It is also the Punakha administrative district HQ….Lunch break at river side & afternoon rafting or visit to Wangdue Town & see the Newly consecrated Wangdue Dzong…Return to Hotel…bonfire & dinner

Day 05:
Drive to Gangtey/ Phobjekha valley (6 hrs) is considered one of the most beautiful glacial valley in Bhutan( 3000m/ 9800ft). The area is best known as the home of the endangered rare Black Necked Cranes that migrate to Bhutan from Tibet in November & leave by March. Visit Gangtey Monastery (16 th century), central seat of the Pedling tradition of Buddhism in Western Bhutan… visit Crane information center to educate yourself..
Overnight at Hotel/ farm house stay.. dinner & rest

Day 06:
Explore Phobjikha valley on foot/ trekking mix around with villagers & take pictures of black naked cranes. Night hot stone bath …bonfire & dinner (singing & dancing local entertainment).

Day 07:
Drive to Thimphu the capital city of Bhutan. This bustling town is home to Bhutan’s Royal families, the civil servants, foreign missions & representatives in Bhutan. Bhutan’s only 18 hole golf course is next to the Dzong most unique location. (we could arrange golfing)
On arrival to Thimphu, Check in the hotel & Lunch….thereafter in the afternoon visit largest in the world Bronze Statue of Sakyamuni Buddha (51.1 m) located on top of a hill. The site offers unobstructed views over Thimphu valley.
Visit Trashi Chho Dzong which houses the throne room & office of the King and various government offices…
visit Parliament House & the takin zoo (National animal of Bhutan).
Hotel dinner & rest… or…night karaoke visit

Day 09:
Trek to Tango cheri a gradual walk (2 hrs)…. Simtokha
Afternoon after lunch visit Thimphu town on foot & momo eatables refreshments in town restaurants
Exclusive Dinner in Hotel with few business groups & government officials including Members-of Parliament to exchange views

Day 09 (optional)
For VIP Tourists: By Chopper Service (to avoid strenuous vehicle journey by road.)
Visit to Gasa Dzong bordering Tibet, China (dip in the hot spring for healt benefits & night halt.

Day 09:
Visit to Bumthang (Jambay Lhagang) built in 7 th century by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gompo. There are many other historic sites to visit depending on time & sheduled tour programs can be customized on arrival.

Day 10:
Drive to Paro Air Port for departure to your country: Thank You: Safe Journey: TASHI DELEK
